Natural mulch and wood products
Clean wood from clearing and grinding can be processed into natural mulch or wood chips. Product texture, color, species mix, age, and availability vary, so natural material should not be confused with uniform dyed landscape mulch sold in bags. It is useful for large beds, trails, erosion-sensitive exposed soil, tree rings, and property-scale ground cover.
Fresh material decomposes and settles over time. It should be kept away from siding, weep holes, and direct contact with structures, and it should not be piled against tree trunks. Customers should confirm whether they need coarse chips, finer mulch, or a particular appearance before ordering.
Topsoil and fill are not interchangeable
Topsoil is used near the surface where organic content and plant establishment matter. Fill is used to build grade, backfill rough areas, or create mass beneath a finish layer. Select fill has more controlled properties than common fill, while screened topsoil provides a smoother planting layer than unscreened soil.
No material should be assumed suitable for structural support without project specifications and testing. Builders and engineers should identify required material and compaction standards for pads, retaining structures, utilities, and traffic areas.
Driveway and drainage aggregates
Common road materials include flex base, crushed limestone, recycled concrete, gravel, and larger stone used for stabilization or drainage. The best product depends on subgrade, traffic, drainage, desired finish, and local availability.
Rounded rock, clean drainage stone, and compactable base behave differently. We help coordinate the requested product but do not substitute one material for a specified product without approval.
Ordering, delivery, and placement
Bulk materials are generally sold by cubic yard or ton. A quantity estimate considers length, width, depth, compaction, settlement, and waste. Truck capacity varies by material density and legal weight limits, so a “load” is not a universal quantity.
Delivery requires safe overhead clearance, adequate width, firm ground, turning space, and an approved dump location. Drivers make the final safety decision. Spreading, track-walking, grading, or precise placement are separate services and should be confirmed with the order. Product availability, color, source, minimum quantity, delivery radius, and lead time vary.

Do you sell mulch by the yard?
Bulk products are commonly quoted by cubic yard or ton depending on material and supplier. Current availability and minimum quantities are confirmed with each order.
Can material be delivered to my backyard?
Only when the truck has safe width, height, ground support, and turning room. Otherwise material is placed at the nearest safe approved location.
How do I calculate mulch quantity?
Multiply length by width by desired depth, convert to cubic feet, then divide by 27 for cubic yards. Add an allowance for irregular areas and settlement.
Can gravel be spread during delivery?
Some loads and sites allow controlled tailgate spreading; others require separate equipment. Precise grading is not included unless stated.
Is every product always available?
No. Sources, moisture, color, gradation, and inventory change. Material is confirmed before scheduling and should be approved when appearance or specification is important.
